My design style is influenced by sports wear, yet still has a feminine and playful feel. This outfit reflects that of tennis attire, with an above knee skirt, fitted stretch top and a floral shirt. The stretch crop top draws out the bright colours of the floral skirt pattern drawing the attention inwards. The shirt is created from liberty fabric bought from a local fabric shop (Fabworks), with out being too dramatic with shape, the pattern creates a noise of its own. The skirt is created out of a duck egg corduroy, it is simple in design and shape, used to complement the female figure. The skirt fits nicely on the waist, flaring out slightly on the hips, with contrast stitching used down the seams.
